Tonight, instead of our usual 8 p.m. applause for Spain, we heard something new, something different in the distance. We welcomed it.
Something stirs. From the ashes of chaos, pain, and suffering, the beauty of faith and culture is rising. It cannot be snuffed out.
It was 8 p.m. It was if we were all saying to each other, “We will get through this. Spain will get through this. We will win this battle—together.”
Today, we are being called to weave our hearts in prayer around the world. We are in dire need of a miracle. Our world is sick and dying.
