Pierre’s Story

Last night, I wrote my story about keeping our family’s Thanksgiving traditions alive in Spain. Pierre, age six, sat next to me at my desk—writing his own story.

Here it is . . .

Pierre’s Thanksgiving Story

“My name is Pierre. This is my first time I have Thanksgiving. Guess what? It is my first time I had Thanksgiving in Spain. We can’t find a turkey. So, we will eat chicken.”

He is obviously excited about putting up the Christmas tree tonight. I don’t think it will sit on top of our dining room table, however.

The turkey he is dreaming of eating has a happy face and lots of feathers. 🙂

Kids are the best storytellers!

(Be sure to listen to Pierre TELL his story on the audio player above.)

Happy Thanksgiving from Pierre and all of our family—to you—wherever you are in the world!
