Lockdown in Spain #2—Here We Go Again!
Life was just beginning to return to normal—school, soccer, social gatherings with friends, travel. How can this be happening again?
Life was just beginning to return to normal—school, soccer, social gatherings with friends, travel. How can this be happening again?
Our first social gathering in three months felt refreshing and strange at the same time. It's like we forgot how to interact with people beyond a "screen."
We could only buy four packages of meat, four liters of juice, and two packs of eggs. Really? Were we being rationed in Spain? Yes, we were!
Something inside of me pushes me to keep recording, keep writing, keep sharing while in quarantine. Something keeps inviting me to "document the days."
Life is starting to feel a bit more normal. It feels strange and surreal, but so exciting. Tapas bars are reopening, and Spain is coming alive again!
Today is our wedding anniversary. We can't go out to a fancy restaurant, but we can still take a fun trip to the top place on my travel dream list.
Like Noah's Ark, the door has finally opened for the wild animals to get out. The children of Spain can finally run and play again. FREEDOM!
