It’s 10 a.m. here in Spain. I was just contacted by a safe house in which I work.
Another woman.
Another woman rescued.
Another woman rescued off the streets.
How is it possible?
There are so many women in the world, so many women in the world who are exploited.
Today is International Women’s Day, a day when we celebrate women around the world.
May we not forget women.
May we not forget women who are exploited, abused, and enslaved.
May we not forget women who are exploited, abused, and enslaved around the world.
Pray for these women.
There is hope.
There is redemption.
There is healing.
There is freedom.
Today, together with me, would you please celebrate women around the world?
Care for them.
Honor them.
Love them.
Respect them.
Protect them.
Please don’t forget them!
Happy International Women’s Day to all the beautiful women around the world!
Right where you, on your side of the globe, you can make a difference. It begins with awareness. Read the story of The Strawberry Girls.
Today, “International Women’s Day”—in honor of all the women around the globe, all the “Habibas” in the world, who are still trapped behind brothel doors or who have courageously survived trauma, I invite you to step into their shoes in my other “Habiba” books:

If you want to make a difference in a practical way—empower a woman who has been rescued out of human trafficking—shop with a purpose, shop for a cause.
